FOOD TRAVELOGUE

Hey! This is Mary, for this blog I'll be talk about the Sabah Tea Foods, where it was located at Kundasang Ranau Sabah.

Sabah Tea Resort is located on the rolling hills near Kampung Nalapak, approximately 20 kilometers from Ranau. This attraction is open to the public. Admission is free. At here, you may see the plantations of garden tea, which are taken care of after by agriculture or its staff members. Once the tea leaves are harvested, they are using firewood as heat source to dried-out the tea's. Last but not least, this tea will packed and being turned into a product that is sold there and serves as an attract for tourists visiting Sabah Tea.

Sabah Tea Pancakes (RM12.00) are soft, chewy and slightly moist. They appear more similar to Apam Balik than to Western pancakes. The pancakes are served with honey. These pancakes taste like waffles too, but it's a little different in terms of smell. These pancakes have a pandan smell also a little bit of tea smell, and if I mixed with the honey provided, it doesn't too sweet, not too bland—just the right taste for me. (Note: The price is in 2019, it will change from time to time.)

Of course, a part of the food, their also provide a variety drink with difference of tastes. I ordered tea with honey, which I never try it before, so I'm interested when I saw at the menu. The tea smells like orchid osmanthus and tastes like sweet rain. When I tastes it, I can feel the slight sweetness on the tip of my tongue. The aroma of tea slowly spreads from the nose to the throat, and the limbs feel indescribably relaxed and happy.

Finally, in addition to eating and drinking, there are also snapshot place such as house trees, large picture frames, and, of course, large teapot carvings, which are full of chains for couples and families. This is the end of my story. When you occasionally enjoy the breathing air of nature and the freshest tea, thank you for reading my experience food travelogue, and don't forget to stop by Kundasang Restaurant and Tea Shop.
